The Award is sponsored by\r\nGriffith City Council, Charles Sturt University and Metalab and has been\r\nheld biennially at Griffith Regional Art Gallery since 1988.\r\n \r\nThe exhibition brings together contemporary applied arts, visual arts and\r\ndesign practice into one innovative exhibition.\r\nSturt is a very appropriate venue for such an exhibition given Sturt\u2019s role\r\nin nurturing and supporting the work of many of Australia\u2019s best known\r\njewellery and metalwork artists.\r\n \r\nThe exhibition runs from 6th February to 13 March 2011.\r\n\r\nWeb    www.sturt.nsw.edu.au\r\n \r\nSturt Gallery\r\nCnr Range Rd and Waverley Pde, Mittagong 2575.\r\nOpen seven days 10am \u2013 5pm.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Contemporary Jewellery Award comes to the Southern Highlands.
