Grow is the 2025 members’ exhibition of the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Queensland (JMGQ). Artists have made work responding to the theme of Grow, exploring representations of nature and botany alongside more nuanced interpretations of population growth, urbanisation and material structures, organisational expansion\/connectedness and personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although systems fail and organisms must eventually die, there is always something waiting to make a fresh start, to draw on what has gone before, to transmute, to germinate and to show a spark of life: the indomitable and endless capacity of life to find a way, to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
